In the Western Cape Dinghy Points Series calendar, there is only one ‘offshore point’ series, the False Bay event, and this regatta therefore draws a large number of dinghy sailors. This year, at the end of May, despite it being in the middle of school exams, there were 105 entries, with the 420, 29er, Laser, Dabchick, Oppie and Extra fleets well represented.
